The production listings on Backstage.com for Jem and the Holograms updated with this tidbit: "Shoots through May 16 in Los Angeles."
With a $5 Million dollar budget and the Blumhouse model of making low budget horror flicks, it makes sense that they would only be filming for a month.
What this means for the characters that have not been cast yet - such as The Misfits - remains to be seen. Either they have been kept a very tight secret, their role in the movie is very limited or they are not in the film entirely.
